this last week anybody else getting this
its the only site on my comp thats slow and i'm pulling 16.5 mb

It always seems slow to me ...
I suspect servers are due an upgrade.

It has slowed down a lot since gravatar.com became a part of each page. If you watch the left bottom of your browser you'll see that the connection is waiting for the gravatar site to load up the avatar piccies. Most of the other advertising loads after or during the proper AB page.

Well I have no ads .. but agree about Gravatar .. Speed to load a page here will be partially dependant on Gravatar's performance.
