Skype problem

Went 'live' with a MS Life Cam and Skype a couple of weks ago and connected to a friend in the US within five mins. I thought great.

Yesterday I managed to get a UK relative (generally OK But not fully trained puter person) to sign onto Skype too. Now tonight (via her lappy cam) I could see and hear her but she could only hear me - no video. I rechecked all my settings and all seems well as regards my setup but can she have something set incorrectly on her machine?

Any advice appreciated

Common problem.
Use an older driver set. See their website.
There are quite a lot of problems with some cams and the latest drivers.

Thanks Albags - do you mean getting anolder driver set on her machine or mine?

Her lappy is 3 months old, my desktop is brand new
Could it be as simple as the volume being (unknowingly) turned completely down or the output being muted somehow - this happened to me once and I felt a right dummy when I twigged after tearing my hair out for a minute or two ?
Sorry, I see I picked things up back to front.
