having read about downloaders being sued by the record companies    can anybody tell me if such a share site as e TOMI PRO is a genuine site  this seems to be a subscription site where  people share their music

bear in mind that any copying of music or any other copywrited material is illigal so theoretically the site is too

I read in the Daily Mail on saturday 5/03/2005, that the authorities were particularly interested in individuals who allowed free Down Loading and Uploading. They mentioned three sites I only remember two as being WINMX and KAZAA. If a site has subscription the theory is that some of that money goes back to the record companies. But the free sites dont. So if you are paying some sort of fee to allow you to download, there should not be a problem.
