External Hard Drives?
4 Answers
I've been using a 'Seagate- 1Terrabyte' external hard drive for just over a year and I think it's breaking down! Are they worth repairing,CAN they be repaired and is there any test available that be run to find out if it is the drive breaking down or something else?
Or is it a trip to the PC Doctors?
Any help or advice appreciated
Thanks

A lot of Seagate 1Tb drives have failed, I had one go myself.
Many get a "clcking" sound before failing, see here

If I were you I would buy another drive quickly and copy everything to the new drive.
