BBC iPlayer on an iPad

I am having great difficulty in getting the BBC Radio on an iPad. I appreciate that Flash Player is not supported, but the BBC sites state that they have a version for the iPad. If I get as far an actual program the (Apple) message "You are not authorised to enter this file" appears.

This is in Spain and the programs wanted are the Listen Again type. Anybody had experience of this ?

as far as i know you can only access the iplayer from the uk

As Bednobs says, iPlayer checks your IP address to ensure that you are in the UK.

All BBC Radio stations are accessible via the iPlayer world wide. It's the TV that is only available in the UK. As I type my good lady is getting her Archers Omnibus fix (via Windows)

Thank you Rojash, but, as the site says "Most Radio Programs are available outside the UK" (The only ones that are not are sponsored events like Football or Formula 1) to re-iterate the good lady is now onto I Claudius

The iPad version of iPlayer uses different streams to the Flash version, and these are UK only. There isn't currently an international iPlayer radio offering for the iPad from the BBC.

An application has been announced, but not yet released, that is going to start offering TV internationally (starting with the USA). It is possible that it will offer radio in Spain.
