I purchased the HTC Desire phone but it only comes with basic "get you started" instructions, in settings it allows you to add Apps (icons) to your home page but trying it
out for the first time I added a few that I neither need or want on my home screen, however I am finding it impossible to remove them, can anybody tell me how in very simple terms please as I am not techno savvy.
Thanks ChuckFickens you've come to the rescue yet again, I did as you said and it works like a dream. but I have to ask why they don't put this basic info in the get started booklet, it would certainly help idiots such as me.
Thanks again ChuckFickens, no CD with phones these days just the bare essentials
however that was a great link you advised and I did what you said and now have it saved, cheers I owe you a pint or two.
Also the user manuals are pre installed on the SD card received with the phone, just connect to a PC and choose Hard Disk, then displayed on your PC will be the PDF user manuals
Thanks for that rjj1972, again I have to say as far as I know they do not tell you that in
the "get you started" booklet, it would have saved me a lot of time & frustration if I had
known that. why don't these people make instructions idiot proof?
