Sky remote controller

Both of my sky remotes appear to be broken - one was on it's last legs but the other is almost brand new. I have put freshly recharged batteries in them and still nothing. I sky+ everything that I watch - how do I do this using the controls on the actual sky box? Thanks

But you can get replacement sky remotes really cheaply from most large Tescos

I've managed to fix the old one (had to get all the Sellotape of it first!), but the other one is not playing. Thanks for your answers.

It's easy to check if a remote is working or not by pointing it at any camera phone and pushing some buttons on the remote. If it's working you'll see the LEDs flashing in the screen of the phone.

(works with any digital camera in fact, not just camera ones)

If folk havre been fiddling with the remote, they may have changed the settings...not sure how to reset though although it should be in your sky box manual.

You could try pressing the Sky button obvious i know but sometimes overlooked
