I'm using Windows XP Professional. Is there a way to stop account users using certain programs, downloading programs, and installing software?

Help!!!!!!!!!

Go into Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Local Security Policy and start reading the help!

Yes there is, go into control panel, then User accounts (make sure your an administrator!) then choose the account you want to change. Then click 'change this account type' and there you go, it stops that user downloading stuff,installing/uninstalling stuff etc. Hope it helped :)
