Help!!!!!!!!!

Hello all you computer whizkids, hope you can help me with this. I'm not that brilliant on p.c.s but I'll try to explain whats wrong.

I loaded my camera software into my p.c Photosuite 5. Since I have done that, when I am on the internet and want to browse I have to use My Documents to visit web pages. I use Dial-Up (blueyonder), usually I would just click on the whale sign to get to my browser but I can't do that anymore. If I click on the E sign (Explorer) it say's can't locate it and when it does it say's it's in My Documents. It is also affecting Outlook Express, if I receive an email that has a web address that I want to visit, it does nothing. Also just one more thing, on my taskbar, the E sign again, I clicked on that, and it turned not a white file, with blue across the top. I did notice when I was installing the camera software that it said something about DirectX, not sure if this has anything to do with the problem.

I hope someone out there can understand all this, I've just written it as it happened. I would appreciate any help at all.
