Help Teac TV

Help please as to advice.

One Teac TV. Turn it on and its ok for 10 to 30 seconds, then the screen goes black - sound is ok......

Does anybody have an idea what is going on and how to correct it?

Hi DT, just a few questions to work out whats possibly going wrong...

1) Is it an old style CRT TV or a LCD ?
2) Are you watching a channel through a normal aerial or sky etc....?
3) If you connect it to a DVD player does it do the same?

Thanks Johne - took it into Curry's where it was bought - they were excellent - I didn't have my mother's receipt but details of the transaction from nearly 2 years ago were there on the pc screen, so it is till under warranty (3 years). We tested the tv and same thing so they have taken it in and to go off to their service centre. Either repair or vouchers (as it is a TEAC and not a Sony/Panasonic this is a very likely route).....they also have lent her a good loaner. And very nice about it.
