On Sunday I sold a dress on Ebay for 99p & the buyer paid immediately. Before I could parcel it up Mr O wiped his oily hands on it & ruined it. I contacted the buyer, explained & apologised and gave her an immediate refund.
The cheeky mare has just emailed me to say that I have a legal obligation to buy her a brand new equivalent dress (approx £35) AND let her have it for free!
Even Mr O was shocked by my language!

ha ha! Got to give her dues for trying.
just send the original dress and a bottle of vanish! The cheeky mare!
She probably thinks you are pulling a fast one and are not happy at selling the item at 99p.
That buyer should be happy with you refunding her costs, it may happen to her one day !
yer just say only thing you can do is send her the dress for free, if she can get stain out she can have it
charge her the 99p and postage, send it in condition its in. Then when she complains tell her she can have a refund when she returns it, oh and postage is not refundable :)
Why would Mr O be round her house with oily hands?

I've been on the virtual chat thingy to Ebay and know I have nothing to worry about. Another thing she said in her email was
"you deserve to be punished"
Nutter or what?
give me her user name I'll wind her up

dotty - it is nahum2007

Her command of the English language is somewhat tenuous
What a cheek. Make sure you block her so she can't bid for anything else from you. I think I will as well - in fact all ABers should block her so she will have problems in the future ! I can see by her name that she would have trouble with the English language. There are always a few out there when you sell things but don't let it put you off.
I can just see her Inbox shortly...hee hee and all for a miserly 99p
I did an Advanced Search on her, she is 'Private' and I can't find anything out ... how do you do it ??
You can 'see by her name that she would have trouble with the English language' - wow that's clever Smurfchops!
It's an unfamiliar looking name, but it night be initials for something and not a name at all
Question Author
This username bears no relation to her real name
think you can send her a private message if you use a pseudonym and are registered with e-bay......
i think you need to look at the ebay rules, even though you are out of order by breaking a contract, it does seem a bit miserly arguing over 99p.
I ´m sure if the nutter was really desperate she´d find something else either on ebay or in a charity shop

Whatever anyone is planning - don't drop me in it!!!
Always amazes me the nerve of some buyers.
Especially as you now have her home address !
