Can't put photos onto computer?

Suddenly for no apparent reason, I can't put my digital photos onto my computer. The usb cable has a green light the arrow thingy comes on the camera but is not recognised bu the computer. I have tried HP photos and images and also Picassa 3 which worked last week. Any ideas? Yhank you.

<Shrug> could be corrupt files on the camera ? Have you tried turning your PC off then on ?
