firefox crashing

past three days firefox crashes once sometimes twice daily. on screen message appears "submit crash report "nothings things been downloaded to cause this,any clues ??

Reload it with out deleting the old one. This advice was given by someone on here, someone far more knowledgable than me.

That could be anyone Dave! ;-) (just kidding)

I would say .. check disable all add-ons (if you have any) first (by opening add-ons and disabling on the button)
Especially suspect theme addons. Check out by loading default.

It could also be caused by a plugin running .. you can checkout in same way.


If still no good, try an over-install.

weird .......when i go on firefox web page it says i'm running 3.6.13? when i check on help its say I'm running 3.6.15? anyway i downloaded and ran install again
on checking plug in's Java was out of date although its on auto update ?? so uninstalled and got new version
