Got this search programme called Babylon showing (powered by Google it claims) - have removed their programs from the OS and also off my search options. However it seems to be still showing on my new bars.....how do I remove this pesky intervention....?

Adware really. Hate these mothers.

Follow the manual uninstallation 1/2 way down here and reboot : )

Are you positive you removed all those entries in Registry?

What browser and OS?
Check Browser settings .. Add-ons or plugins for Babylon entries.
Empty your cache/temp files.
Nest will be to disable entry with HijackThis if necessary.

This happened to me and after much fiddling I got rid of it

it has come back now on my tool bar

am on W7, Al - not showing on Programs or Programs 86......IE as browser and happened with Google - showing that it comes up 'enchanced Google' - incidentally my first page opens on Google.
