Hi! I need to send someone a film (an AVI file) on a disc. I don't know how to get it onto a disc. I have Nero Burning Rom (Ultra 7 edition) but don't know how to actually use it.
Any thoughts, or is there an easier way to add files to a disc? I use Windows XP. Thanks!

THANKS!
Scarlett, You could also try "Free Videos to DVD" by Koyote Soft.

http://www.koyotesoft.com/indexEn.html
VSO trial will place a watermark on the DVD conversion.
But why are you converting it?
They can just play the avi as a data file!

Just burn the avi with any burning program.
If they want a DVD for a home player .. convert it with AVS software .. which is free http://www.avsmedia.c...-Video-Converter.aspx Or DVD Flick .. also free. http://www.dvdflick.net/
Nero will also burn the file .. or convert to DVD if you have the dvd plugin installed.
You need to open NeroVision, select DVD .. and look at info that pops up.

Albags, it's complicated. It's for a film. I need to get the avi onto a disc to post to a friend who will put it on a mini dv tape and then post back to me so I can edit it on Avid. Avid is a stupid program which plays about with the aspect ratio of my footage once I have edited it on Premiere. ie- you can't import Premiere to Avid, so I am going a roundabout route....

Why do you keep spamming with this rubbish?
Some posts, you have no idea it will work .. and does not even support what is required!
