if you had the chance to live anywhere on the planet, never needed to work again, all accommodation - leisure activities and food provided free of charge, and no money worries whatsoever ... where would you live?

i'd live in the best penthouse of the burj khalifa in dubai

Boring, but would stay just where I am. Money couldn't buy the great neighbours I have.
A decent old bungalow in the middle of about 20 acres of securely fenced land with my own wood.
cottage by the sea in Cornwall, must have land and stables, and voila, I'd be happy :-)
I would stay here in London.
New Zealand, cottage at Huka Lodge

or an old Colonial House near Woodstock, Vermont.

or a country house in Fife or the Dent to Hawes area of Cumbria/W Yorkshire.
Having spent a lot of time in the UAE I am intrigued by your choice.

On the assumption that we are choosing a county and are free to travel around it then I'd go for South Africa.

probably Vermont, to be nearer my kids.
Sounds like signing on the dole
Have you spent much time in Dubai Excelsior. It really doesn't take long to get bored.
I would be bored witless, even allowing for the Emirates Golf Club.

never been there.
i'd fly family, friends and other loved ones out there for holidays occasionally .. but i could never get bored with luxury living
try the Carnegie Club, excelsior, at least they have properties in London, Dornoch, New Yok and I believe a couple of other destinations....
on the coast someplace, it would have to be warm most of the year, and not many people nearby. Not so much a desert island, it has to have some life, but at a far enough distance that you would just go to get supplies and have a natter to the locals and then back to the hideyhole.
A nice Brownstone in Manhattan I think, something like this will do.
