The issue is not the much-argued 'no sense of humour' response which is always trotted out, but the fact that the sign is not overtly offensive.

I am sure that if one of the landlord's customers objected, then it could be discussed.

I suspect no-one who is not specifically looking to be offended would take issue with this.
