Crete

We are looking to got to Crete in May this year and would be grateful for any recommendations.

We are a couple early fifties and looking for a nice place,fairly lively,ideally with entertainment in the hotel of an evening and also in the area, we enjoy all inclusive 4 star hotels, we aren't posh but do like a good clean place.

Have a look at Minos Beach at Agios Nicolaos (not sure of spelling). We went a few years ago, lovely room, lovely staff, good food, quiet location but an easy 20 minute walk into town.
