I've just checked my favourite budget accommodation site. The Hotel Albelle looks OK to me. It's central and seems to be furnished to a high standard. Prices in a twin or double room with en suite facilities, including breakfast, are 31.71 per person per night. (I used a 2 night stay, arriving on 8 December, for my search).

This was found on http://www.hostelworld.com
(Use 'Advanced Search Options' and select 'Budget Hotels' and 'Guesthouses'. When you get to the details for the Hotel Albelle, click on one of the photographs to open a new window which lets you view a selection of photos of the hotel).

We stoped in the Hotel Scandinavia (but this was back in 1977). On tour with a load of Aussies over for the speedway. The tour company organised it, but can't imagine it was very expensive.

Trouble is, can't ever hear the Eagles without singing 'Welcome to the Hotel Scandinavia....'
