The second floor exhibition was Abstraction, with various themes like 'From Nature', 'Monochrome' and 'Painting to Object'. There were works by Pollock, Moore and a rather disturbing piece by Mona Hatoum - a steel wheelchair with knife blades instead of handles! The Turner Prize is being exhibited from later this month. You need a timed ticket to view it, but I was told 'don't worry' you can book one on the internet. I will be going next time Helen comes down.
I never did get to any of the museums!!
As for the everyday running of MM, I have followed MM convention on word length. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!
Each link word may go in front of, or behind, my chosen word! The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when crofter will declare my selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past.
My second set of four chosen words for linking should appear below at 9.00am - on the dot!
