Where to go in March

Hi all

I am planning a week away from my Bday with my partner, Ideally we would like to go somewhere quite hot, but not the normal Spain/Greece etc. We like places with character, not too commercialised or full of Brits abroad!!

Looking for 7days ish.

Do any of you guys have any recommendations??

depending how far you want to fly to get some hot sun you will have to go to either the canaries or egypt

Sardinia is beautiful - full of character , fabulous countryside and beaches, lovely food, people etc. We stayed in Villa Los Tranos in Alghero, pricey but worth it. Ryanair fly from stansted, bella!!

Unless you want to go long distance I agree with teszmand that the only places with beach weather in March, near to the UK, are the Canaries or Egypt.

Further afield you could go to Miami - or the Florida Keys - or one of the Caribbean islands (9-10 hours flying) or to the Middle East (8 hours)
