I am going to Turkey in a week but I am still unclear about carrying liquids. If the liquids are in your hold case do they still need to be 100ml and in a plastic bag or does this just apply to hand bagage?

Just to the cabin baggage.
No, the 100ml x 5 items only applies to hand baggage, and you need to carry them in a small sealed plastic bag which you can show separately if needed, when you go through security. You can take as much as you like in your hold baggage.
Don't froget your £10 each for your entry visas.
