Me and my pal are off to Newcastle for a weekend soon and want to visit the "Angel of the North", while we there, but will not have a car. Does anyone out there know if there is an easy way to get there by public transport by any chance? Thanks

You will have to get to Gateshead to catch the bus

If you happen to be travelling north on the train or on th A1 to get to Newcastle for your weekend you will see it anyway.
