Hi- please can you tell me if BA World Traveller provide you with eye pads and socks and toothbrush in an amenity pack or do I have to take my own?

We just flew to the Caribbean and despite what it says on the website we weren't given eyemasks, socks or earplugs. We did get a pillow, blanket and toothbrush/toothpaste though. The seats weren't too bad but I can recommend taking some sleeping tablets!

WTP is okay, but the extras are not worth having. Last time we did it the lady who should have been in the next seat to me passed away on the cruise ship. I had lots of space to spread out but would rather have had the poor woman next to me.

oh dear miss meg.............on my P&O cruises they average 1 death a week.

Lol craft, did Ventura at Christmas, 4 weeks, 3 deaths we were aware of and 9 parties disembarked for bad behaviour. Usually get at least one code alpha per cruise resulting in an ambulance at the quey side.

And twice we have had to return to 200 miles within land for a helicopter to take off a sick passanger.

We had a very early morning tannoy alert on the Oriana asking for blood donors with a certain proveable blood group to be on standby and went to Madeira full steam ahead as a chap had a burst ulcer................we docked 5 hours early, and we got a message later from his wife thanking everyone and apologising for the rough trip.

My daughter used to work on Ventura. She's on Oceana at the moment.

Oh yeah, forgot about the dinkie seat that you have to sit upright in with no leg room for 13 or so hours.
