Canary Islands
We are in our late 60's and we would like to go to the Canary Islands in March 2012, mainly because it will be warmer than Spain. However, how do we decide on which island? Can anyone give us any help please? I have heard that Lanzarote is popular, but so is Teneriffe. Has anyone been in March to either of these places. Any help appreciated. We would like a hotel with entertainment in the evenings as we will not be going clubbing !!

A bit of Googling suggests that Puerto de Mogán (Gran Canaria) might be suitable:

My wife and I ( mid sixties ) have been to Gran Canaria for the past six years late January or early February. We go to Clubhotel Riu Gran Canaria, which is situated on the sea front in a lovely small resort called Melonaras.
It is a " all inclusive " hotel and has evening entertainment.
We really look forward to our visits here every year.
You can book through Thomsons, or book direct with the hotel.
I would advise you to read the reviews on Tripadvisor, or Thomsons, just to make sure it meets your requirements.
Hope this helps.
