Hi megfitz, hope you found the answers you wanted on my posting about the quiz. Any chance of a reciprocal with the piece of chicken one?
The Post Office. They have won an award for being best travel insurance for the last 5 years I think it is. You can do it online, in branch or over the phone. With health problems (minor and major) you are probably best doing it over the phone as you can speak to someone about them, as if undeclared you would not be covered for anything related to those problems.

Hi Cheerybob, Think i've got most now ,some are abit iffy, the Chicken answer was suggested as Breastwork I know that's 10 letters but that's what several people have come up with!! Any others I can help with
It is such a good answer but I guess it has to have 9 letters. Will let you know if I come up with anything else. I have a few iffy answers too but am trying to concentrate on the ones I have nothing for. Have only just got the power back to search internet after last night's storm.

Hi I struggled withtravel insurance but eventually found a company called travelinsurancemedical.co.uk which I believe are owned by staysure but were a lot cheaper.|We are going to Aia for 7 weeks and the insurance was half what I could get anywhere else If you are going to Erope try EHICplus they too are very resonable
This specialist broker is recommended on the websites of several charities supporting the elderly and people with medical conditions. (I've posted this link dozens of times before; several people have reported that they've found a good deal through this broker):

Hi Cheerybob, apart from the Chicken one and Detection3and10 which are a bit iffy,I think I have the rest. Any more I can help you with?
Rias are good for including existing conditions and they specialise in over 50s insurance. The basic insurance is very cheap and then premiums increased with each condition but we still find it is best cover for us.
Hi megfitz, the chicken piece is in the famous fortress of athens (a crop), Jacques Clouseau is Detection 3 and I am afraid I am not sure on D10 ???Nancy Drew but only coz it fits. Let me know if you get a better one.
Question Author
Hi Cheerybob, thanks for the Chicken, I had the same answers for Detection 3,10 but was concerned about them, feel much happier now you have the same, so all finished and this year I will send it in!! Can I help you with any others?
Oh Megfitz, I have now lost confidence with Nancy. Maybe will have to read her books! Have had suggestions of Sarah Lund or Honey West but I can still find no connection. Been looking at Moat and Isle etc. again. Will give it the weekend and then that's it.

Hi Cheerybob, Have just had a suggestion of Tiger Lily for D10, not sure how that fits in!! looked at Honey and Sarah but none of their Bios. mentions their father, or a hero.
Glad you were grateful for the advise and didn't get involved in something that had nothing to do with your question!

Sorry maclarencat I should have said that with thanks for everyone's suggestions, I've been round the houses and down the alleys eventually finding a reasonable policy with Staysure who specialize in 50+. All I can say in mitigation is that this Quiz has scrambled my remaining braincells!!
