Anyone From Glasgow?

Wondering if there is anyone from Glasgow or more precisely bridgeton? Trying to find out family stuff and the surname isn't that common. Hoping by chance someone may have known/ or know this name and shed some more light into my families history. The surname is CANT or another name of Campbell Brown?

Hi lots of answers on the other question last night, think I'm curious not only of the dead relatives but of anyone who may be living still in Scotland that would be related directly by family.

I was searching for the name Canton in Glasgow and I remember the name
the Rev Anthony Cant on a gravestone in an old chuchyard. Perhaps if you
enquired arouind the old chuchyards it might give you a start to your tree.
I have always found the local chuchmen very helpful

I am also trying to trace family in and around the Gorbals of Glasgow.Three sites i have found useful are Scotlands People.....Gorbals Live Anecdotes.....Genes Reunited.Oh this reminds me of a question...Does anyone know how to trace a paupers grave in the Gorbals of Glasgow? i have no d.o.b though.

Don't come from Glasgow but know Bridgeton well. Cant is a fairly common name in Scotland. What do you mean by "or another name of Campbell Brown"?
