S/C in Menorca

I'm going to Menorca in July with my wife and two young children for two weeks self-catering. I was planning on taking �1,400 spending money (�100 per day). Would that be enough to take, as we would be spending alot of time on the beach ?

�100 a day is a pretty good figure to aim for on self catering holidays (imo). If you dont go anywhere during the day (ie that costs money), you can afford to eat out in the evening. So if you spend 10 days on the beach and 4 days out on trips, you can eat out 10 times and cater for yourself for 4 days.

Unfortunately, we have 4 kids which means we have to aim for more like �150 per day! but I think you have about the right amount.
