Does anyone know if you can buy an ipod at duty free.. and how much cheaper it would be?? Also, if we bought one at the airport, would we be able to use it on our holiday, or does it need to be attached to our own computer with itunes on?? Thanks

Yes you will have to have it matched up with ITunes.
. . .apart from which there are no duty free allowances if you're travelling within the EU. If you're travelling to a destination outside of the EU (such as the USA) you could be hit for import charges upon your return to the UK.

In general buying almost anything at airport shops is a bad decision, as their prices are usually vastly higher than High Street shops.
not sure if you're after an ipad or ipod, but do check out the prices first; as Chris says, those at airport shops are often (but not always) higher than in town.
sorry, Chris = Buenchico
If we were told which airport Whatwhat is travelling from, we could check up on the range of shops available.
Do you mean iPod or iPad?

Call and ask the price for their iPads - 01275 474550. They swear they'll beat internet prices from Amazon, Comet and John Lewis. If you find something cheaper on another website, ask it they'll beat that too. But do your research before you leave home.
