All the best Chippies are in Yorkshire. Most of them in Leeds

I'll second that about the ones in Leeds. Best ones I've had were at Murgatroyds near Leeds Bradford airport.

Hi factor30, used to fly from Exeter up to Leeds to visit friends and often used this chippy. Even driven up and stayed at Stoops and gone there for them. Didn't drive 300 miles there just for the chips mind, I am not that mad lol.

From Lime Street bus stop Gd, take a no.82 bus (toward Speke) and get off at Aigburth Road, just past the post office on the corner of Ashfield Road. Journey time about 20mn.

bus 82 doesn't go to the airport. you'd need to get to Liverpool South Parkway to pick up a no.82. But from there, yes it would be quicker.

thanx mushroom, but i think i´ll give it a miss, too much palaver, getting a bus into lime st, then another bus out again to the chippy, i´ve only got 2 hours, not 4 hours. its a pity
