Holiday To La

I am looking at a holiday to LA (just for a few days) what hotel or area would be best to stay in to visit main attractions like Rodo Drive, Walk of Fame etc?

Any other recommendations would be appriciated.

it's a huge place (greater LA: 34,000 square miles!) so you should probably figure out what you want to see most, and how to get to different sites.

There is a metro which could help you move from one to another

I would highly recommend this place, although it was a few years ago when I stayed there http://www.orchidsuites.com/ we had a proper kitchen and dining room table so could cook in if we wanted to. It's on the doorstep from Graumanns, Kodak theatre, Walk of Fame etc. It's impossible to be central to all of LA because it's so vast, you 'll definitely want to hire a car if you also want to see Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills etc
