What the hell are these Greedy sods trying to do to the public charging for the trolleys, a £1.00 is not much I know but having just returned fro OZ not one Airport charges for the use that I can name.
Perhaps if they spent more time sorting out their Arrivals queues (rather than working out new ways to gouge a few quid out of passengers) I might be prepared to fly from there again.
The arrivals area is an astonishingly badly run dump, with the surliest, most work-shy, UKBA staff I have ever had the misfortune to come across.
the trip was good, apart from loosing my brother due to ill health, he would not listen to advice regards smoking, Man/ Airport, you are a disgrace you greedy basds, and i hope you suffer.
You get your pound back, surely? - we do at Gatwick - the pound is returned when you give back the trolley. Common practice these days (and you can use a euro or a trolley token if you don't want to use a pound).
most US airports charge but we have never paid for a trolley. While my wife
"guards" our cases I go and get a trolley. When arriving, from where people leave them when boarding a taxi etc. and when departing from check-in area where people leave them. I do not bother to return them to get the 25 cents! Although they are free at Qwen Roberts International airport in Grand Cayman an official took one off me one day as I was unloading my cases frommy car telling me that they were only for arriving passengers! How illogical was that!
