Back home for Easter and a few days either side, which is a nice way for a break. My Great Aunt came along too. It's been lovely to see her in the past but lately I think she's been pulling the martyr card just a bit too strongly...

"So, anything you'd like to watch?"
"Oh no, you watch whatever you want, I'm just a visitor, it's your house so you watch what you like, I won't mind I'll just read this book and suffer boredom in silence..."
"Would you like a drink?"
"Oh, don't trouble yourself, I'll manage."

Grr...

LOL, having a good time then, Jim.
Question Author
Oh, yes, definitely. Sort of.
Family life, jim!
Throw her the tv remote, pour yourself a drink and read a book.
You had a good time then, Jim.
Question Author
Haha, if only... but she can't seem to work out the TV remote, so someone has to stay to help her out with that..
Stay here and say you are researching a very important project and expecting your chair any day now

I'm keeping myself occupied with a crossword now.
1ac : fed up fed up fed up - desktop at end of tunnel
One day, jim, one day.

Just think, a great nephew a professor, she'll love that and tell all her friends
How old is your Great Aunt? You are half my age so our concepts of what is old will vary.
If he answers...63, Wolf....I will kill him....☺
I don't have a gripe for today, most unusual, maybe it's because it's a bank holiday and officialdom is leaving us alone.

SD: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORED.

Psyb: I fear she won't last that long., as (wolf) she's well over 80 and her memory's going. It's rather sad really. She's told the same stories twice or three times over the course of the weekend. Time was she had a great mind: took an OU Physics degree in her 70s, and so was at least part of the inspiration for me to do the same.

63 isn't old!!!!!! Far from it! And you don't sound a day over 57 anyway gness...
Today 63 is really old.....the grey and mizzy day is so ageing....☻
I'm 63 AND I AM NOT OLD. Okay.
