Help! Travel Insurance Q
What do i do? My tsb bank allows me to upgrade to a silver account for £10 a month along with phone insurance etc.. But have looked online and seen insure and go website which has some pretty cheap one off prices. Has anyone used insure and go or upgraded to a silver on tsb? Can i download and print the documents as they won't arrive here in time for my trip so will i still be covered even though i don't have documents? I have my ehic card btw.
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated as i'm literally tearing my hair out in stress now ARRRRGH!

All sorts of perks are promised, most of which you can easily do without or get much cheaper elsewhere. Don't fall for their promises - do some comparison shopping. I did, and I found that most of the promised perks were pointless. or, worse still were duplicated by other services which I do want and don't mind paying for. As you can't claim for the same loss on two policies, you would have to be very sure that the perks on new account were worthwhile before taking up their offer.
The banks are hoping that so many people will agree to pay for banking-with-bonuses that they can eventually make everybody pay. And probably drop all the perks.
Thin end of the wedge, if you ask me.

Thanks guys. Do any of you have any experience with insure and go? The trustpilot review look good but can easily be made by company workers i suppose

Hi Henrietta - sorry can't help with this question but in future, it's always important to get travel insurance at the time of booking your holiday, so you would be covered in case you had to cancel. Not sure if this was a last-minute booking or it's been booked for a while. If you do this, you won't have to go through all this last-minute stress.
You can apply and pay for travel insurance online and print off the certificate at home. I have done that when I have booked a spur of the moment trip and departed the next day. Most companies want you to download the policy schedule as a pdf anyway as it`s cheaper than sending reams of paperwork through the post.
