looking at the list it seems diesel is dearer in the UK than anywhere else,
Think Norway is a tad dearer only.
Supermarket fuel is usually about the cheapest, filling stations out in the country are pretty rare and mostly unmanned, some only accept french credit cards. So. don't go below 1/4 full.
and unleaded is 6p cheaper whereas most others are dearer, makes you think we are in rip off Britain. So much for buying a diesel engine for cheaper motoring.

...ah yes, I was waiting for the "rip-off Britain" comments. Why do people have such a narrow view and regard the price of fuel and alcohol as the be-all and end-all...lots of things are much dearer in the countries listed as having cheaper fuel.
absolutely gingejbee, lots of stuff in France is much more expensive than in the UK. They still have normal shops in most of France so things have to be more expensive to pay for the overstaffing.On the whole I thing it all balances out.
