Any Gay Bars In York

Im planning to go to York in a couple of weeks for a holiday and I am wondering if there are any gay bars there?

Because Gordie is one of us - this would be my first port of call for such questions. And if you are going somewhere for a drink or meal you would prefer personal recommendations.

If I was gay - it so happens I'm not - I wouldn't be asking for recommendations on gay bars. I'd just be asking for recommendations on good bars/pubs/clubs/whatever.

It is a long while since I was in York so wouldn't have a clue of the best bars to visit, have a good time.

I have taken a long time to accept my sexuality I went to a pentecostal church where I had demons cast out of me which didnt work I sought therapy from a counsellor who tried to cure me and make me straight I spent 9 months in a psych ward and now I dont care what people think of me because I like myself not love myself but I am getting there I tried to change but cant and it drove me mad so I accept it now

Gordie - there is nothing wrong with being gay. I feel for the people who have been brave enough to tell their families that they are gay/lesbian and the families just don't understand.

We are all different and, if you try to accept other people for who they are they should be able to accept you for who you are. Being gay is just a small part of you - it is not 'all' that you are.

Ohhh...Gordie....trying to be straight when you are gay must be so damaging....and I guess my aforementioned oddballs make it worse....
