Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Lol..I was cursing away merrily to myself .It's sooo painful. I hate popping pills but couldn't wait to get home and chug some down.
Just been reading the local rag and they had a nostalgia supplement today.

It's my brother ! I rung him up and he said he remembers it well.He was left there to guard a land mine that had surfaced ,and to wait for the bomb disposal people.They wouldn't leave a lone officer stood near anything like that like these days.

amazing! yes they would fence it and keep well back today! I had a fast (in all senses of the word) stomach upset last night. It felt like a really bad bug but all gone by this morning except I am very tired. No idea what it can have been.

nothing exactly to report, Robinia, you could see where they'd torn a bit of the flap to get in then pushed it back again; could easily be dismissed as an accidental tear. I know it's not, of course, accidents like that don't happen to envelopes without plastic cards in them.

Been to Live at Lunch in Nottingham today. A brilliant 15 year old pianist. Her name is Konya Kanneh-Mason. She is one of a large family of youngsters who play lots of different instruments. They are due to play The Albert Hall during the year. You can find them on line and YouTube. Brilliant. After we went for lunch at Bistro Pierre. Lovely day. Spoils myself with a chocolate mousse for afters.
Looking forward now to Derby County's game tomorrow. COYR.
I can Fuffoowaff a bit when I'm in pain too but think most women are quite strong about that especially when they've had children.
I hate pill pushing too. When I'm asked what meds I'm on and I say nothing except eye drops and cod liver oil they seem surprised when the know how old I am like I should be on all sorts like statins etc. Not me thank you very much!

I'm in grumpy mode actually, I overdid it big time stylie in the garden yesterday, I could cry with pain this morning. I was re-doing some of the job I'd paid the gardener to do, tut. Instead of 'clearing' as I'd asked he'd turned most of the weeds in. The upturned clods and soil covered more that hadn't been touched ....grrrr. All they really want to do is whizz around with a mower. I need a real[i gardener, not a maintenance man. Ok I need one of those too.

good morning. I know its minor but I wish bloody knee would settle down. I have to keep remembering to rest it elevated which means shifting a dog off the settee.

Oh dear think my reaction to the tablets has kicked it, felt very dizzy and sick and eyes made everything have a ragged edge, so I slept for an hour. Arm killing me again! I still feel sick but am cooking a curry for dinner as they are both out working. Hope it doesn't get any worse or I'll stop taking them. Thought I was going to faint.
