Esta - America

We have applied for an Esta on the 11th August, 2014 - we have paid and have a receipt with Esta Status - authorization approved.
So far this is all we have received which we printed off the computer. The last time we had an Esta, about 3 years ago, we were Emailed full details with start and expiry dates. So far we have received nothing. Have the Americans changed their system since we last applied?
Any comments would be appreciated.

I don't believe they send out e-mails any more

If you are worried about it you can go back into the ESTA system to check your status and print off the details if it reassures you

no, they have it on their own records so you aren't required even to have a printout with you; but print one out for your own purposes anyway, just as a reminder of the date.
