What is the law in Scotland regarding buskers?

I live on the canal near the Falkirk Wheel and, wonderful feat of engineering that it is, it has brought me a great deal of unhappiness due to the amount of noise it generates, one way or another.

Today I have a busker practically at the back of my house, albeit on the opposite side of the canal, playing the bagpipes, (very badly). I can hear him through double glazing and with the television on, and he is driving me mad.

Where do I stand legally when it comes to having him stopped.

I am assumin g the police will be as uninterested as they were when my house was subjected to a sectarian attack. They came two days later.
Have you contacted the visitor centre about your problem? If he's been hired by them to play on their site they might move him to a different part.
0870 050 0208 is the number on their website.
