Taxis From Jfk Airport

I'm off to NY on Wednesday, daughter getting married, and need to get from JFK airport to my hotel, is there a pick up point for taxis, I don't want to be ripped off by non qualified drivers. Thanks.

Taxis are very easy. The fare is also standard to avoid people being ripped off. The pick-up point is just outside the airport door (or was a few years ago).

One set fare from JFK into town. Parker meridian is great hotel, nice rooftop pool, very expensive breakfasts though.

Well I am back from the Big Apple, what an amazing city. Had a wonderful time so much to see and do. Hotel was really lovely,weather was great too. Only thing I wasn't impressed with was Times Square. stpeter how did the wedding go?
