I have been trying to find a company that will offer trip cancellation cover without conditions for reasons of death or injury of you or spouse, something I do not want imposing. I want cover for cancellation for any reason. Any thoughts?

highly unlikely, you'd be asking them to insure you against changing your mind. How are they to calculate the chances of that?

I dont think i`ve ever seen a policy that would cover all those things - rather than trudging the web try a broker - let him do the donkey work.

Do you mean you want a policy that doesn't take existing medical conditions into account

A one-off trip to Greece and no medical conditions ' as far as I know' !

Why do you not want cover in case of injury or death?

For a very modest sum I'd much rather have cover in the event I trip on the hotel steps and break my ankle rather than having to lash serious cash before treatment.

I think you might be getting it backward, EcclesCake. The usual thing is that policies will pay up in the case of death or injury of you or your spouse but not much else. As I understand it davidanthony is looking for a policy that doesn't limit payouts in this fashion, but will pay out for cancellation whatever the reason. I think he'll be lucky to get one.
