I am travelling from calais on Friday. What is the best time to catch the train to avoid all the problems? I booked the 3am Ferry will it be safe?

Do you mean the ferry (boat) or the Eurotunnel shuttle? Either way I'm sure it'll be fine.

So why have you booked the ferry?
Night time is when they try to break security and get into the tunnel!

Oh yeah duh I wrote booked the ferry. The time is just convenient as will be driving up from the Spanish boarder non stop. I was more concerned with getting my car beaten up etc by a flash mob of people trying to get in. Is it possible or should I say likely?

Weird. ..... I git here. But like 100 km before the chanel tunnel I had 2 people on the motorway. I didn't see them until I was 5m away. They pretended to fall over. Maybe hoping o would drive back to help. No noises of impact on my car though but it was really in easy
