My husband and I will be in Edinburgh and have a couple of spare days next week, can anyone recommend things to do apart from the usual tourist visits. We shall not have transport so it will need to be in the city itself

I have known some really manly men that have said "I don't believe in ghosts but I was scared". As I have said I haven't been there yet but maybe my next trip home.

Definitely not one of the usual tourist experiences but well worth a visit.
You can get a bus there from the city centre.
You may have to book your visit, it was a wee while ago that I visited.
