The Cayman Islands are in the western Caribbean about 150 miles south of Cuba, 460 miles south of Miami, Florida, and 167 miles northwest of Jamaica. This map shows them:

Select Google maps and then put the name in. You can make the map bigger or smaller with the mouse and see it close up or where it fits in the world.

thanks for that info - helped
Grand Cayman is a very nice place to holiday, but not as picturesque as some of the other Caribbean Islands. Very pleasant people. It's VERY expensive: the last time I was there, the Caymanian dollar was worth more that the American dollar, so you can imagine where that put my Canadian Dollars.
If you get lost, just follow the trail of dirty pound notes.
Yes, just about every other building in the capital, Georgetown, is a branch of a foreign bank. It is so rich, the residents don't pay income tax (at least when I was there)...The Switzerland of the Caribbean. I laundered some money there: I left a $5 bill in my swimming trunks before I went SCUBA diving.
LOL Stuey !
Stuey .. just had a quick glance at your post and thought it said ...
.. 'I left $5 billion in my swimming trunks' .. that wouldn't have left much room to smuggle a budgie then ?
