You are of course correct Mamyalynne - it turns out my keyboard has failed and I have lost lower and upper case on keys five and six.

Haven’t been yet, will be going next week. Hoping all the journeys work! When I booked the buses, I printed out the tickets and they have information on where the bus stops/stations are. I found the hotels using a combination of looking at hotels used by travel companies and reviews, and proximity to bus stops. Will let you know.

Karl, am back from my travels, what would you like to know? All the bus trips worked out fine but you do need to be able to navigate yourself around using one of the map apps. What you see on the bus companies websites are only a small part of the travel options once you are there. Hotels were fine, people were lovely and most could speak English. Where we stayed at small guest houses, we communicated with a combination of English, french and Italian!
