From UEFA competitions, yes.
Yes , they should, they were a disgrace last night but England held their head high and should be applauded
No, maybe make them play ‘behind closed doors’ for next few home matches tho
FIFA and UEFA should ban them from the next word cup and the next European Championship. It's harsh for the players but their neanderthal "fans" need to know they can't do what they are doing.
I couldn’t understand the point of “partially closing” the Levski stadium. How was that going to help?
I agree I don’t think the time has come for a ban: yet. The Bulgarian government look like they may sack the entire football administration.
Addressing the issue honestly is always better than simple blanket bans.
Bans are all very well but you need to address the problem: what happens when the ban ends? It all starts again.
The Czech Republic and Kosovo were also targeted and they don’t have too many black players so it’s plainly a big issue.
you have to make an example ich, when they come back if they do it again ban them again, for longer, even dumb animals learn eventually.

Rangers got a part of their stadium closed (3000seats)
Plus a fine Just there, for racist/sectarian chanting
Their fans are even annoyed at their bigots now.

Banning a team for the behaviour of fans should be last resort
I don't think so, no. Those peoole who were ejected from the stadium at half time were an organised neo Nazi group with no interest in football. Firstl and foremost, they need to be arrested and charged, that's the priority. Bulgaria need to be more proactive in identifying and banning troublemakers.

As for punishments for the team, the England midfielder Jordan Henderson had an idea I liked. Make the national team play their home games outside of Bulgaria for the next couple of years
Mozz //Make the national team play their home games outside of Bulgaria for the next couple of years//
Don't think that would work, hooligans would travel to to games.
Better idea would be to make them play home games with a closed stadium.
I don’t see that any particular part of a stadium is any more susceptible to being populated by racists than any other if people are determined enough to get in.
Either close it completely or not at all.
Last night a particular set of people was identified and dealt with. It seems to be that that is a better way to go. I don’t think you can “teach” such people things. They know perfectly well what they are doing.

Playing 'Devil's Advocate' here, aren't all matches against other nations racist to some extent when the opposing supporters banter and insult the other side's players?
AOG, there's a big difference between banter and racially targeting black players or making Nazi salutes

Ignoring the offensive Nazi salute the rest is only Black thingy then?
Would they Danny? I think only genuine fans would be inclined to follow the national team around Europe. If the Nazis do follow the team, they may find that foreign justice is less forgiving than Bulgarian justice
AOG, it seemed to be aimed at the black players yesterday. Booing and hissing at the anthem was the only other thing I've seen reported
"Ignoring the offensive Nazi salute the rest is only Black thingy then?" What is Black thingy?
TCL, I took it as AOG asking if the abuse was purely racial or not.
//I think only genuine fans would be inclined to follow the national team around Europe.//

What are ‘genuine fans’ ?
England fans were battling with police in Prague just a few days before this. Are they ‘genuine fans’ or not
Should england be banned for their fans actions too?
let it be the nation's new watchword, TCL: "ban Black thingy".
