On your holidays this year?

And where would you like to go after that?

I do love a Gin. I got a bottle of Whitely Neill Gooseberry Gin yesterday. It's nice but I still prefer the Quince one.
I don't do 'holidays', per se. The last 'proper' holiday I had (with more than just a night or two away from home) was a trip to Malta with my lad in 1989. Since then I've just a few nights over Christmas, staying with friends, in a Norfolk holiday camp back in 1995 and a couple of nights in Madrid in 2013

However I do enjoy my day trips abroad. In the past I've been to Dublin, Calais (lots of times), Paris (lots of times), Bordeaux, Brussels, Ghent, Ostend, Barcelona, Rome (several times), the Italian Riviera (several times), Bergamo, Amsterdam, Malmo & Copenhagen (on the same day), Berlin, Mainz (several times), Cologne and quite a few other places that I can't recall at the moment.

All I've got planned at the moment is a day trip to Paris in April but I hope to add on several more day trips (such as Antwerp and return visits to Rome, Berlin and Bordeaux), perhaps alongside one or two short breaks in Plovdiv and/or Sopot (and possibly Madrid again).
Ynys Mon is one of our day out destinations. We can be across the Menai Straits bridges in 25 mins. and make a day out anywhere on the Island. We love Cemaes, Trearddur, Beaumaris, Rhosneigr, and Some of the secluded walks around the smaller bays and the Newborough area. We never, ever go into Holyhead.
Singapore, Perth WA and south coast
Maastricht for Andre Rieu
A doggy holiday somewhere quiet for around firework night.

I was looking at Plovdiv recently, and also Timisoara. Ohrid is supposed to be worth a visit too.

I'm under strict orders not to book anything else until the house is finished...

Riga, Stockholm, Brno, Bratislava and Stavanger are the most likely candidates for when I next come to book.
Lots of holidays in Dorset later in the year. Meanwhile, next Thursday, off to Torremolinos for 8 days...
Nothing planned, but who knows - I may get whisked away somewhere :-)
What's Malmo like these days?
I hear a lot of problems there with immigration.

I'm sure my Auntie-in-law is going to see Andre R. I'm not sure where.

We have 3 nights in Zurich in September to see Andrea Bocelli.
Mamya - Like Dorothy?

Very easy to get to from Copenhagen, Theland.

Patsy, I was last in Torremolinos in 1995.
Cape Town. Bit of safari then Mauritius for 7 days. Yorkshire Dales in June for a week then Dalyan in Turkey in Sept.

My husband's best friend went to SA on Christmas Day, mainly for the cricket. He had a splendid time! He face-timed us on NYE and was off his head on Veuve. It's really cheap there apparently.
Ras Al Khaimah in March, Marrakech in May, Devon in the summer but that doesnt count because that's home, camping somewhere in Aug then somewhere in Sept - don`t know where yet, Caribbean or Middle East probably.

My in-laws just came back from a Cruise around the Caribbean. They visited lots of places but Curacao was one of their favourites.
Togo, you obviously know Anglesey very well, as do we.
Trearddur bay is our favourite, we just love the wildness of the whole island.
nowhere. nowhere.
Thanks for the veuve tip LG.
Everything's very cheap in South Africa. Food, drink, accommodation. We've been twice and will go again.
Long weekend with all the family, 10 of us plus friends to Sanlúcar de Barrameda in March, just Mr.Sam and me first week of July to Zahara de Los Atunes. I'd like to go away for Christmas this year, but don't know where to.
