I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that case, PP. I went to Cairo in 2005 but I've not been back to Egypt since then.
Don't know yet. We're waiting on a baby to be born. We'll decide after that.
Lanzarote, Mijas and probably Lanzarote again in that order
Don't know. Mr BM is waiting for 2 sets of test results. One is undoubtedly going to involve surgery so until then it's a staycation.
Peter, you'd better keep your hands to yourself.
Funny lot them Egyptians!
You should be OK Peepee as long as you don't get anybody's back up.

St Ives 20 yards from Smeatons Pier is already booked and paid for end of May beginning of June.

I hope you're giving him lots of TLC, BM.

I've not done Lanzarote, but Mijas is beautiful. Which is the really windy island in the Canaries?
Question Author
Aha, we're going to St Ives in July.
We are talking about going down to Norfolk or thereabouts at the end of the Summer.
Well I haven't killed him yet which is as close to TLC as I get ;)
Question Author
You're all heart, BM. Does he know how lucky he is? ;-)
Nowhere I'm afraid.
Hope the telly is good.
Only thing booked is Salzburg in July, will go to Cyprus probably October. We go every year to stay with best friends who retired out there, and see my gorgeous goddaughter (their grandaughter). Will also book something in May and a few short breaks along the way.
Hope you enjoy Luxor Peter, went for our silver wedding in 1997, if you go to the Karnak museum make sure you go at night it is so atmospheric.
Anglesey for a week in a cottage shortly, Ile de Re in June with loads of family, Carlisle for a week in a cottage in November, and lots of other weeks away throughout the year, yet to be decided.
Oh yes. I tell him at least 3 times a day!!
Question Author
Many, many years since I was in Anglesey.

We had booked a day trip to Salzburg from Munich last year but cancelled it when we realised that we wouldn't have enough time to explore Munich, with the other trips we had booked.
Can't afford to go on holiday but hope to visit friends around the uk. Nice when they come to me too.

That's as good as a holiday, Rowan. Regardless of where it is, it's a change of scenery. If there's wine, so much the better :)
Sometimes gin too
