Liverpool Empire Theatre - Where's Best to Sit?
2 Answers
Hi,
I planning on buying some tickets to see Cinderella at the Liverpool Empire. Just wondering can someone tell me where's best to sit? Is it best to sit in the Orchestra Stalls or in the Circle? Also, is this the correct topic to be asking in the Travel section of the answer bank?
Many Thanks
Chris

(I'm not sure, anyway, whether I'd have put your question in the category which includes 'Arts' or the one which includes 'Places'!).
On to your main question: I've never been to the Liverpool Empire but I've taken loads of kids to pantomimes. The best seats (from the kids' point of view) have to be the orchestra stalls. This is where the bags of sweets land when the cast throw them from the stage. Also, if the cast invite youngsters onto the stage to take part in the show, it's always the kids in the stalls who can get up there first!
All the normal rules of where the 'best' seats are go out of the window where pantomimes are concerned. To a young child, seats in the circle can seem too far away from the action. Get as close to the stage as you can. The adults might find that their necks will ache from looking upwards but the kids will love it!
