Do a search on the web site for Birmingham and you get a little map.

The nearest is Birmingham Broad Street (Canal Side) which is about half a mile from New Street.

The next nearest is Birmingham Broad Street (Brindly Place) which is a little further away.

But you could walk between the two hotels in about 5 minutes so they are very close..
DONT go to Birmingham Central East which is a little way out of the city centre.

Good luck
Here is a map of central Birmingham.

New Street is shown as the large black box in the centre bottom of the picture.
If you look to the LEFT of the station, on the edge of the picture, you see a road called Broad St (A456).
Both hotels are very near Broad street (but not on it I believe).
The nearest one I mentioned (Canal side) is just south of Broad st, fairly near where the Crowne Plaza Hotel is shown on the map.
The other one (Brindly Place) is just north of Broad st, probably just about on the edge of the map.
You can either get a taxi to the hotel or walk. Both nearby hotels are within walking distance.
The FRONT of the station is on the right of the black box on the picture. There are loads of taxis there and it should cost you no more than 2 or 3 pounds.
You can also come out of the BACK of the station (not sure if it is open all the time) which will bring you out of the LEFT of the black box.
You can then walk under or over the ring road (Suffolk st Queensway on the map) and you are almost there.
Broad street is the centre of night time ertertainment so there is loads there and if you get lost most people know where it is.
From the station follow signs for Broad St, ICC (International Convention Centre), Symphony Hall and Rep theatre.
There is also a Big Wheel in Broad St at the moment (like the London Eye) so head for that.
